May Photography Challenge
Hi, my photo-friends!
I'm back, late, but back, with a new challenge for this month. Since it's Mother's Day this weekend, I thought I'd go with that as a theme. So, here's your assignment: 1)Find an old photo of your mother or a mother figure. This could be your mother, you, an aunt, a grandmother, etc. 2)Now, take a NEW photo that relates to the original in some way. For example, if the old photo was of a child in someone's lap, the new photo would be of a child in someone's lap. A woman working in a garden. Telling a story. Making dinner. You get the idea! 3) Make a layout with both photos, making the older one a monotone or sepia. 4) Your layout must have both a title and journaling that tells the relationship between the two photographs. 5) This will count towards the Scrappin' & challenge here at GDS. Here is mine. I wasn't really a "mother figure" in this pic....but this is a picture of me when I was about 8 and then a picture of my daughter when she was about 6...at the same place 32 years later...with almost the same picture!!!
