Hello Everyone!

Who would like to play a friendly game of Bingo to help celebrate NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY this coming Saturday? Come play, chat and be eligible to win some very cool scrapbooking prizes.

What: NSD Bingo
When: Saturday, May 1st at 3 pm EST / 12 pm (noon) PACIFIC
Where: Right here in this thread
Why: To have lots of fun, chat and pick up a really cool prize. (TBD)
How: Download your Bingo Template HERE.

Decorate your card as you wish and pick 24 words from the list below and fill in your Bingo card. There will be a special BONUS for those using ALL GDS Products to decorate your card. Put a link to the kit you used when you upload your card and I will be sending out a special prize once we are done and I have time to collect all the info. The square in the middle is your "FREE" square so put whatever you like there. There is a layered Photoshop file in the folder as well as separate .png files in case the Photoshop file does not work for you.

Here's how to play – all you veteran Bingo players know the drill. But we always love to welcome new players as well. It is really easy to play along and you might just have some fun!

What to do to participate in NSD 2010 Bingo:

• Just pick 24 NSD Bingo words from the list below.
• Use the template provided in the Bingo Template link, decorate it (hopefully using all GDS products – there will be a special randomly-chosen prize) and fill in your chosen words.
• Upload to the Bingo Gallery here (Challenge & Contest Gallery).
• Post back in this thread that you would like to play, or shoot me a quick PM with your words list.
• We play Blackout Bingo, which means to win, you need to fill the entire Bingo Card –having all your words called out. The first one to shout out Blackout Bingo in the thread wins the Grand Prize (TBD – I will give a sneak peak once it's determined.)
• There will also be a prize for the person who gets the first complete single line – horizontal, vertial or diagonal.
• Please post your card or send your words list by 1 pm EST / 10 am PACIFIC on game day, May 1, 2010.

I played my first BINGO game last Fall and it was a great way to meet some of the ladies that frequent this site. They were so great and made me feel really at home. I had a hard time choosing the time to do this one, being I'm on the west coast and I know there are people from so many different time zones. I thought I'd give people time in the morning to do things and not let it run too much into the dinner hour. Besides, my Vancouver Canucks may be playing their first 2nd round playoff game against Chicago that night and I don't want to miss that! Nervous about my first hosting stint, but I know it will be fun and people will be patient!

Question about the word list---I just noticed---You have Paper & Papers both on the word list. And of course, I picked them both without realizing it. Just wanted to make sure you knew that and wanted it that way.

Thanks Cathy for catching this for me. I was worried I was going to do this and even double-checked my list. I should have had "Santa" check my list! I'm going to replace Papers (#2) with 'BOWS'. We only need one "paper" don't we?. I hope this doesn't mess up those of you that have your cards up already – I'm sure not. You're probably all on the ball! I'm going to use "randomizer" to choose the words as Liz did previously, so it shouldn't come into effect. I haven't done that yet either so . . .
