Speed Scrap January 2 @ 4 PM EST

Happy New Year to all of you

and welcome to an afternoon Speed Scrap tomorrow January 2 @ 4 PM EST here in this thread!!

There will be a hint later today.....


1. Choose 3 papers – at least one blue
2. Use one as background and one as a “stripe” on the left side.
3. Place your 2 (or more photos) down to the left.
Slightly overlapping each other and slightly rotated.
4. Take a frame (if you have one in blue-use it or colorize one if you have time)
Use the frame on the second photo (not the upper one)
5. From the third paper – cut out a circle and put it under the photos.
6. Use 4 (or more) elements – at least 2 of them in blue
7. Find a nice alpha or write the title in big bold letters.

I never did a speed scrap before...do you all go into the chat area to do this or do it through the thread? I am interested, but not sure what to do. Can someone help explain to me about the speed scraps so I can join you guys? Thanks!!!!

Hi Tracy!!

Speed Scrap is usually hold in the thread.....so this one will be right here, but I will start a new thread just before the Speed Scrap!!

We start @ 4 PM EST and during 1 hour I will give you 7 prompts to follow - they will be with about 10 minutes intervals. You scrap following the prompts and after the "chat" you will have 1 hour to finish your layout and post it in the Speed Scrap gallery.

Everyone who participate will receive a prize and I will also random pick from all the posts done in the thread a winner of a $5 coupon to my store.

The Speed Scraps are usually later in the evening, but cause of the timezone I live in (Finland - 7 hour ahead of EST) I prefer this time.....

You are more than welcome to Speed Scrap with us - in fact I would to have you there!!
