Here is my step 2.
![]() Used cookie cutter shapes for cutting the curved pieces. Some of the shapes were added to the PSE program - so not sure where they came from. Enlarged them a bit then made a paper in a darker color of the background paper and did a clipping mask for each shape. Set the opacity down to 50% and slide them under the shapes to make the shadows. I kept the shape on the left side with a straight side as I love the white swirls on the paper edge.

My second stage is here.
My background paper was quite dark so my dark paper ended up somewhat lighter than it in most places. Did a 'rough' cut look by selecting the area freehand, going for a hacked it with scissors look I think!

Sorry to be late; I've been having Internet connection problems. My computer guru, my son-in-law will be here for Christmas week and I hope he will be able to fix a lot of stuff for me.
Anyway here's the link for step 1: http://www.godigitalscrapbooking.com...sive-s&cat=708 And if I followed Kay's (Bright Eyes) directions correctly, Here's the image: ![]() I can hardly believe it worked; thank you Kay!!!
