Step Four:
4. Time to add some elements! Keeping to the Halloween or Autumn theme, create clusters radiating out from your photo in two directions. Using 4 different flowers, 2 different foliages (is that a word? LOL) 2 different ribbons or strings, 3 paper strips, 2 buttons, and another main element that says something about your layout theme. You can repeat these items as many times as you like and add shadows. Try a glitter style on an element if you like too. The clusters should go about to the center line in both directions... with the bulk of the cluster being close to your photo.

Post your layout by Saturday, October 27, 2012 The next step will be posted Sunday, October 28 2012

Yes!
I think I have to print this out to see if I will have everything done!

And what if my photo is to close to the side?

Yep... knew she would throw us a huge curve....

Glad we are getting all the cluster elements/papers at the same time so we can play with them.

Els... remember that 'center' means not only to the middle vertical but the middle horizontal, too. You can see from Andrea's layout how that works even if your photo is near one side. Took me a minute to remember that there actually is two centers...

Great job on your page so far, Andrea.... you are quick!

You can think of a big "L" shape.. with your photo being at the joining of the long and short legs of the L.... the *legs* would then be radiating towards the horizontal and vertical centers of your layout. Hope that helps :)
