Hmmm...48 hours to post...still going to try this. I just started Art Journaling. Really helps with my moods, then my computer crashed Monday.

So I'm working handicapped. Desktop is dead with my 4 HD that contain my scrap supplies and holders currently inaccessible. I'm on my laptop which is driving me insane (XP Pentium 1.6 with 1 gb ram and PSCs3 compared to Win7 quad core 3.2 with 16gb ram and PS-CS5e; not to mention 6kb of photos and sb supplies) so I've got plenty to journal about...

can't believe I've forgotten how to use XP an CS3 already. I also can't believe I haven't backed up my scrapbook zip file purchases on the desktop that is still running since 2009...

Wow....Hope you didn't lose your scrapping supplies when your puter crashed!

I lost an EHD once, but was able to get a lot of it back, thank goodness!

Thank G-d they aren't lost. I just fried the motherboard and maybe the cpu...so I need to buy a new motherboard, a new cpu and new operating system--sizable expense. (Quite irritated at how high Win7 OEM software is right now, to discourage people from buying before Win8 is released at the end of Oct!)

My impediment is my files are spread out over 4 or 5 hard drives in the computer and although they should be fine and safe...I only have one external drive case. Can't decide which hard drive to put in the external case (one with scrapbook kits or one with current photos and layouts in progress).

My heart is with you on this one. I just crashed my computer on Friday. DSiL is having to do a total re-install of system/etc. Hoping that I got most of my files on EHD this past week... so may only have a few days of files/downloads missing.... fingers crossed. Yes, this is a PITA but thanks heavens I did backup things.

Don't have any scraping software/kits on this computer [DH's laptop], so won't be scraping until my computer is fixed. .... hopefully over this weekend.

Yikes... didn't know that there will be a new Windows OS out so soon. Good luck on getting your computer back up and running.
