If it's telling you that you need more memory for the trial version, it will be the same way with the full version. Look at the recommended specifications that Adobe sets out for CS4. You want to make sure you have all of those. You can see those here:

CS4 is very resource intensive (Photoshop mainly). The other programs in the creative suite are not so taxing on your computer.
