December Color Challenge

Hello! This month we are welcoming back the color challenge.

Our inspirational kit for this month's challenge is Andrea Gold's Holiday Splash Kit.

Link to the store: Holiday Splash

And here is our palette:

Your challenge is to choose at least 3 of the 5 colors and create a layout. Your page can either be made with the selected kit or any supplies in the palette colors.

Additional info:

(1) Your layout must be unique, and can only be used for this challenge.
(2) Your layout also counts as one entry towards the December Scrappin' 7 Challenge.
(3) Use of GDS products is strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated.
(4) Please post your layout in the Color Challenge Gallery HERE .
(5) Come back here and post what you created, and link it to the gallery, so we can all leave you some love!
(6) HAVE FUN!

This challenge runs through December 31, 2012.

And everyone who participates will receive a bonus at the end of the month.

Happy Scrapping!

I used the scrapkit "Holiday Splash" by Andrea Gold, but left out the Christmas items, because my birthday is in Februari!

Here is my entry for the colour challenge. As soon as I saw the colours I thought of the scarf I made for my youngest son last winter.

Mostly used Art for Scrapbooking's Seasons kit with some snowflakes from the dec collaboration kit.

A lovely color palette... I used "Mired" kit - Created by Jill.

I did recolor the cream paper to a tan of the palette. All other elements and papers were used as found in the kit.

Thanks for a fun challenge, 2SparkleOn.

You are quite welcome. Really like the lovely combination of the three colors you chose to use. It makes for a very pretty page. Thanks for joining in!

I really like that snowman in the kit, but wanted to scrap this photo and he just did not want to share billing with the Clauses!!!

Here is the layout in the gallery

I am not sure what is going on with my shadows. I have been making custom shadows and they look fine until I jpeg them. And I really do not notice the problem until I am looking at them in the gallery after uploading. Guess I better go back to PSE automatic settings. ah well, not going to print these anyway. Just for fun. So ignore the funky shadows
