  1. Newbie

Hi, I am new here :) I have been snagging templates from Andrea's blog for a bit now and figured I had finally better come check out these cool challenges I read about! I do not belong to too many forums because I like to be active in the ones I am in. I have been digi scrappin for about 6 months or so now, and paper scrapping for 3 or 4 years. I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom of 3 girls. They are 14 (she just started public hs this year), 9, and 6 years old. I am married to Marc for 9 1/2 yrs though we started dating at 16. We live in Kissimmee, Florida and have been here since about 2003, minus a stint to the big apple for a year for his work. We are originally from South Florida. Enough babbling, which I tend to do! Glad to be here. I am off to check out challenges and such :)

  2. Welcome! We're glad Andrea finally coaxed you to come on over and check more of us out! I bet we have at least one challenge that you'll find interesting :) Looking forward to seeing your layouts....
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

Hi! My name is Cheryl and I am brand new to scrapping. In fact, I haven't had the nerve yet to even start (why is that?). I think it intimidates me just a tad lol, but it intrigues me as well. I am no newbie to graphics, as I have worked with Corel and PSP since about 1992, so I don't really know why I hesitate to scrap lol. I am 48, very happily married, mother of 5, grandmother of 5. I was a nurse until I became disabled by Multiple Sclerosis in 1986. Although I do not work outside the home, I am by no means sedentary as I help raise my almost 2 yr old grandson - and he runs me in circles while running circles around me lol. I hope to learn a lot while here and am looking forward to getting to know everyone and FINALLY starting to scrap!
    *hugs* Have a fantastic day!

    Hi Cheryl,

Glad you found us! We have lots of PSPers here in the community and tutorials galore up in the Resources menu at the top of our site. If you have any questions, just post a question in the forums and someone will certainly answer. We have classes starting in early November in PSP too and that will be a great way to get yourself started! As on personal note, I'm sorry to hear you have MS. My cousin has it as well so can relate to some of what you go though during the episodes. We have a supportive, inspiring and fun community here so just sit back and the friends will come!

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! I am sorry to hear about your cousin, Holly. Hopefully, one day soon, they will find the cause and cure of all autoimmune diseases, MS included - that will be awesome! I look forward to the classes. Please excuse my ignorance, but is there a charge for classes?

Again, thanks to all for the warm fuzzies :).
