    Here is a page I did for a long ago challenge. For the life of me, I can't remember how I did it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Whew! Okay, so it looks like you clipped your photo to a mask and then lowered the opacity. But I guess that depends on the program you use ... do you use PSE?

    So does that make sense? You either used a mask or you made your own, then you lowered the opacity of the photo. That's what it looks like to me anyway! I'm certainly no expert.

    That is what it looks like to me too.
    In PSE we have masques in with our shapes tool, or lots of designers have given free masks in all different shapes and sizes. They are normally a black box, circle, etc. with grungy edges/swirls/words on them.

    You just open it in PSE, then place your photo over top of it and use Ctrl G to clip it together. You can then lower the opacity, and do lots of other things to make it look the way you want it.
