May Photography Challenge
Hi, my photo-friends!
I'm back, late, but back, with a new challenge for this month.
Since it's Mother's Day this weekend, I thought I'd go with that as a theme.
So, here's your assignment:
1)Find an old photo of your mother or a mother figure. This could be your mother, you, an aunt, a grandmother, etc.
2)Now, take a NEW photo that relates to the original in some way.
For example, if the old photo was of a child in someone's lap, the new photo would be of a child in someone's lap. A woman working in a garden. Telling a story. Making dinner. You get the idea!
3) Make a layout with both photos, making the older one a monotone or sepia.
4) Your layout must have both a title and journaling that tells the relationship between the two photographs.
5) This will count towards the Scrappin' & challenge here at GDS.
Have fun with this!
As always, there will be a posting bonus from me for all participants; I'll be back later to post a preview. :-)

Mother & Daughter
Looks like a great challenge!
Diane, I LOVE your page! I am inspired now to find a graduation photo of my mom and one of me! Thanks for playing!
Diane and I are all alone here at the Photography Challenge, so I thought I give you a peek at the bonus for this! I hope this inspires you!
Been so busy, forgot all about this challenge. Will see what I can come up with!
Come on, ladies! There's still time to participate!
Here is mine. I wasn't really a "mother figure" in this pic....but this is a picture of me when I was about 8 and then a picture of my daughter when she was about 6...at the same place 32 years later...with almost the same picture!!!

Thank you for this! it was fun to go back and look at old photographs.
