Welcome!!

For the newbies, the instructions are as follows:
You'll receive 1 instruction every 10 minutes for the next hour. Artistic Interpretation is allowed, just let us in on how you got to where you ended up. Once the hour is up, you'll have another hour to upload your layout to the Speed Scrap Gallery (link will be posted later) and to link it back in this thread.
If you're new, or lost, feel free to ask any question you like! I, or one of our fabulous SS Junkies will be happy to answer! DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED! Sometimes the steps might seem difficult...or sometimes they ARE difficult...don't give up! Pull our your Creative License and do what you feel, or go where it leads you :)...we don't want anyone to feel "lost"....the goal is to create a place where you can get your SS rush, and try something new! And honestly, some of my favorite pages were ones I threw together in a Speed Scrap! So enjoy!
You will NOT be disqualified unless you don't post a layout...so what have you got to lose? Let's have some FUN!

Like you would not believe!!! I've been working on another project that has required 50 and 60 hour work weeks since the middle of November...my poor family! Only 10 days left of the madness!
I'm glad to be here with you all tonight, though!

Isn't that the truth Lisa? Gee, I thought those years would never end and then I woke up one day and they were all gone (or so it seemed). Ha! Grandkids are great though. When you get tired of them, you can send them home. Hehehhe

j_camargo6
12-10-2009, 06:20 PM
Don't let this one "throw" you!

1. Start with 3 photos of someone special. Crop one into a circle, and the other two into smaller squares.
2. Pick 1 paper.
3. Use a "gallon" of your main color, a "quart" of your complementary color, and a "pint" of your accent color as you choose your elements.

Step 3: Huh?

tbcarter2002
12-10-2009, 06:24 PM
Wow, Jenn, how long did it take you to think up Step 3?

j_camargo6
12-10-2009, 06:25 PM
Oh, I hoped that wouldn't confuse anyone...so sorry.

Think of it in terms of proportions.....one dominant color (75%?), a complementary color (20%) and an accent color (5%).....

So if I have 12 elements on my page, 9 of them will be....let's say PINK, and 2-3 of them will be maybe....seafoam, and 1 will be brown.....does that make it any clearer?

j_camargo6
12-10-2009, 06:26 PM
Wow, Jenn, how long did it take you to think up Step 3?

LOL...actually, I used it in one of the classes I've been developing and produced this week, so I just pretty much pulled something out of my head that's been banging around in there all week :)

elenasworld
12-10-2009, 06:28 PM

but i am going with your explanation so I dont have to think too hard :)

j_camargo6
12-10-2009, 06:31 PM
It's time for .......NUMBER 4!

1. Start with 3 photos of someone special. Crop one into a circle, and the other two into smaller squares.
2. Pick 1 paper.
3. Use a "gallon" of your main color, a "quart" of your complementary color, and a "pint" of your accent color as you choose your elements.
4. Use something shiny (metal, glitter, etc)

j_camargo6
12-10-2009, 06:39 PM
I'm going to throw this one out there, and then run hide before you all stone me, LOL.....
If it helps, the last two are EASY!

5. Use 1 element each that begins with each of the following letters: R, S, T, L, B, E
